Damn breaking things

Postby Gtz_xtc » Thu Jul 13, 2006 5:01 pm

 was out driving on monday night and my right steering arm came out when i was driving. needless to say i couldnt turn a great deal and ended up hitting some things and just missing a pole. its totally cracked one of my brand new 17s  and i need to replace a whole lot of stuff to do with the suspension and steering now

that i had to go to hospital bla bla bla. cops where nice though. Anyone else had similar experiences? or am i just "talented"?

The steering arms don't just come undone, there are measures there to stop them doing it, unless whoever was working in that are neglected to put the pin back in, or bend the ends of the washer (depends from what side it came loose)..

GTZ: Who last worked on your car in that area? A steering arm coming off is some serious shit, find out who it was and why it happend, then take it back to them. If you killed some one, they could be held responsable.

Steering, brakes and suspension is somthing you just can aford to $&#$% around with. Id be doing what Revhead sugested

it was active vehicle repairs when they did my clutch. They mentioned something about tightening the steering arm. I'm going down on Tuesday to talk to them. Any suggestions on what i should say? Apparently i still have concussion and we've taken pictures of the accident area. Theres a line in the road a few millimetres deep where the arm dragged along the ground.

if that happend to me i would expect no less than total reimbursment for all cost incured, both for the car, your medical bill and hell even $$ lost due to time off work.
