My AW is F*cked

Postby HELBND » Mon Jul 17, 2006 9:28 pm

Well ended uni today, only to be told that while i wasnt home, my AW (parked on the road) had been smacked into. According to the neighbours, a honda civic came screaming down the hill, locked up, and slammed into the back of the AW. 2 guys then got out of it and ran off.

the police towed the civic, and im guessing are looking for the owner, though i suspect its stolen. in the meantime, im without a car, and cannot afford another.

as far as damage goes, from the quick look i had, the rear right quarter resembles a crumpled piece of paper, bumper and boot are pushed in, and my nice new facelift taillight is smashed

im absolutely gutted, i dont know what im going to/can do about it

Hate to say it dude, my civic sounds like it was in better shape when it was hit and they called it a write off. Insured?

its my own fault for not being insured, but those two idiots better hope the police find them before i do

You going to look for a runaround? Or find another MR2? I'm guessing this is the one you've 20V'd and fixed up. I'm sure you have alot of MR2 parts stockpiled by now :P

So the big question. Is it a write off?
