Its pretty cool cos its an old toyota, but id rather see the panel work done first, and done properly, theres too many of these things with sweet motors but are still rotting away from the inside. Give it a proper panel job, remove all rust, new panels here and there fully wax all the inside of it, with a nice lick of paint.

And many people try and convince themselves that thier standard bodied 30 year old car has NO rust, but yet to see it proved once.

But thats just my opinion, take it how you like. Once youve got the bodywork sorted (as I see youre doing on your profile) it will be sweet.

The mission was getting straight panels 1st.

yes its rust free and it wasnt a bog job. I HATE RUST.

Ive found that there is not many coupes left in dunedin. So i gotta make sure this 1 stays in damn godd shape.
itll get there.

Your 30 looks sweet.

man a rota i love em, but the old reliable 2TGEU its a damn good engine.

A rota would be to problematic and expensive.

Ild rather get real crazy cams to get the rutt going

looks average at the mo with all theprimer etc. But it certainly has potential with a lick of paint. Chuck a v8 in it *snort snort* **drinks another double brown*

Cool, I'd mould in some flares while you're doing the prep - unless you're keeping it original. Flares make them look heaps tuffer. :)

Definatly needs work, but I think it has potential!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
