*A70 Supra Integration relay?

Postby quick6 » Sat Jul 22, 2006 8:31 am

I have a ga70 supra which for about 5 years has had a problem with randomly running the battery flat. I found quite by accident one night recently that the fancy delayed fade out courtesy lights fade out once you get out and close the door, but about half the time within about a minute the come back on and stay on. This obviously being the problem I pulled the 'DOME' fuse and have not had any trouble since.
I am now sick of trying to find the key hole etc in the dark and need to fix it (no central locking = no alarm to on this car). I have narrowed the problem down to a bad 'Integration Relay' which appears to serve no purpose other than to delay the turn off of certain things. Could anyone shed some light on how to bypass this at all? Anyone had a similar problem?

Why not just wire it up to the door switches so its only on when these, or say glovebox wire it activated. a little work, but pretty easy to do.
Cant believe im still a member here.

Thanks for the reply. I must have read your mind because that is exactly what I ended up doing today! Works well, nice to have lights and central locking again. Now if I could just stop the f$#@ing boot leaking........
