How good an aftermarket computer is depends on

40% what type/brand of ECU it is,
60% how well it is tuned.

it depend on wat u want to use ur car for.

i've ask the guys down at TP, they said if u going to use it mainly as a daily drive than power FC is the choice, it will do its job and its not too expensive.

BUT, if u take it to the track Power FC have its limit, than it should be time to think abt using motech, link etc~

u can actually use any after market ECU u want, but it all depend on if thats wat u ar after.

TRDmod ill save you some more " Another computer question " and share what i learnt and im still learning posts. My reccomendation would be Power FC as its cheap and plug and play for your car unless your Really going to need extras.

Power FC (First choice unless you demand more, Or cant get one ie my car)

Motec >(Tied for second)< Autronic ( Seems either ither depending on cost, But Motec if you can justify and afford )

The Rest..

Ive chose the Autronic, Best all round package for me based on the fact i cant get a Powerfc in my car, Good results and feedback from those that use it and have it Tuned by Randell. EG Bazda.
