Autoflex flexis can be had at Tyco flow control, around $50.

What are you using them for as mandrel bends would be better than doughnuts.

tube and steel in east tamiki.... about $25 for a 180degree mandrel m/s bend. and they have bins of s/s seconds for cheap as well... will normally hook up deals as well.

if you find any cheap flexi's i'd be keen as too hear i'm just about to make a new exchast (stupid new law) :x

doughnuts are manufactured as that and require welding on the seam for strength. The bends are mandrel bent so dont loose any wall strength. Thats my best explination unless any one else can describe in more detail.

Huh?

stainless tube is seam welded as well so its the same difference. If your getting into cold drawn steel expect to pay an arm and both testicles.

Steel and tube are pretty good, I have a shit load of schedual 40 2.5' elbows you can have for $5 each, Mild steel. S/S is better though because decreased weight. Tube benders in east tamaki on cryers road sell 2.5 elbows for $15 as scrap or $25 new. Scrap is ok to use, the only difference is its not completely round (near enough for exhaust)

how the hell can u justify that lol
and for strength...its for an exhaust, hence the flexi.

im the one making the downpipe, its a pretty tight fit so a mandrel bend would not fit into the space we have or thats what we would be using as donuts are expensive.
