What to do in Palmy?

Well, I just flew back to Christchurch this afternoon.

Aside from the "welcoming" pool of blood outside our hotel (on Broadway Ave) the first morning , and the 8-10 year old "gangstas" hanging around outside BK, it was quite a nice change of pace from Chch. Went into town at 10pm last night, it was totally dead! Spent lots of money in the el cheapo asian shops too. There were a few "boyracers", but it appeared to be the same 5 guys doing laps.. one vtec Prelude just kept going round and round! Totally standard, aside from exhaust, lol! Also saw a mint as red RX2 sedan with 13B turbo driving around with no bonnet.. pretty cool.

What the heck is with that?! EVERYONE stares at you, it got to the point where I went back to the hotel and changed clothes.. thats' just creepy.

So overall, no, we decided we didn't like Palmy enough to warrant moving there, so thanks anyway, guys!

Just because you've brought a house in Palmy, doesn't mean you have to live here. It's actually a pretty good investment as the town is getting bigger and bigger and there are some really nice places quite cheap.

But Auckland/Wellington/CHCH are easily better :p

Cept for Aucklands traffic. God damn I can't stand it longer than 5 mins, this weekend was just as bad.
