P/S In Blacktop AE111

Postby dotdog » Sun Jul 30, 2006 10:18 am

Hey all, Im having a werid problem with my P/S in my levin. When the car is cold the p/s hardly works and its a real bitch to steer, as the car warms up it seems to get better but not 100%. Whould a shagged pump do this or is it something else? Also the p/s fluid bubbles in the container when the car is idleing

would it be worth changing your fluid - may be old/full of water?

fill the filler up one time when its cold, jack the car up and make sure its secure.
turn it on and let it idle.
when idling, turn lock to lock a few times and this should get most of the air in the system (thats if there is any)

after this and its better then wahoooo! if not then i dont know what copuld be up? :O
