Help needed.... Taupo region (broken SW20 shifter cable!)

Postby RomanV » Thu Aug 03, 2006 8:20 pm

As above!

Today I had a race day at taupo raceway. which was friggen AWESOME. :D

However, just at the end of the day, an agressive 3rd > 4th snapped my fowards/backwards gear shift cable. :x

If anyone in the taupoish region has one they could lend me (I could post it back when I get to AKL) or wants to sell, please let me know ASAP.
As I cant get very far otherwise. I have a vehicle with which I can travel around the taupo region with, so can come pick up. But only for the morning most likely.

Any help appreciated, if you can help, text or call me on 021-606-542.

Regards,
Roman.

P.S the only lap time that was recorded was in the wet, got 54 seconds.
It was understeering horribly most of the time, was MUCH better in the dry, it felt really well balanced.
At the end of the day when it was drying up, I was reaching 145ish onto the sweeper, and 145-155 down the end of the straight.
I'm not sure what sort of times I was getting, but I definitely progressed well throughout the day!

Got some awesome sideways action too, haha. :D
Should be able to put some footage up in the next few days.

Oh crap, not you too!!!

You should have got your lazy ass over here to get that strut brace silly :P
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
