LSD For Hiace ???

Postby Muzzie » Thu Aug 03, 2006 11:19 pm

96 Hiace, factory single spinner.

Does anyone know if theres a LSD that will bolt straight into the van. Be it from a different vehicle or not. Hilux perhaps?

Maybe even just the head?

Van in question spends alot of time in sticky muddy areas so a bit more traction wouldn't go amiss........

hiace rear ends are very similar to hilux and prado etc
same carriers and wheel bearings etc.
on some years the side bearings are different

btw what van are we talking about? theres more variations of hiace than just about any other toyota :?

check the build plate next to axel (if it has) and it should have something like G311 or F311 or something and it will tell you what diff is in it.. but nearly ever hiace and hilux i've seen run g series diffs so there all interchangable. i have a hiace diff head in my hilux housing at the mo :P
