Thread Highjack:

On the subject of butterflys in exhausts. Remus make an exhaust for Commodores that have adjustable butterflys in the exhaust, does this mean its illegal?

I've done that but it wasn't very conclusive. It says: Image which means it would be illegal but it shouldn't be for sale if its illegal should it?

Just because its for sale doesnt mean its legal. The rules are pretty clear, an exhaust cannot be readily interfered with, this include bolt in silencers.

This is exclusive of OEM products, however an OEM product must pass a certain standard anyway.

So your saying I can't buy it for off road use?

Should seats that arn't road legal be illegal to sell as well?

Last I heard screamer pipes from wategates were also illegal. Ban the sale of these?
