They do have a tubular manifold standard, but they're not as effective as decent aftermarket extractors.

Thats a crock....decent gains get made with aftermarket ones...hell, even a blacktop manifold is an improvement

yes blacktop one can be better. doesnt match the ports though.

and the stock silvertop one is not a restriction so youd be lucky to find any gain on a stock or near stock engine.

the 2-1 section is what you should change

you will find having a larger blacktop ones mite help in more than one way... and been larger than the ports is one of them... well from what I read up... its todo with the flow along the outer area of the pipe and gases expandng an not been able to flow back.
now iv just confused my self *shrug* was ages ago when I looked into it
