Why the f$%k do they insist on 4 spoke wheels?

I mean come on... There's borderline and then there's just weird looking.

I would preffer 3,5,6,7 spokes to 4, it just does not look right (unbalanced)...

4 spoke wheels ftw!

I have these suckers now:

But yeah... It's likely there isn't any "proper" Tom's built vehicles in the country.

It's not entirely out of the question that there might be one or two. However we've not had people come to us with a "claimed" TOM'S built car asking for verification as we get with TRD models.

The main reason we're not as active with the TOM'S brand as we used to be is because they themselves shifted focus from trhe smaller cars - Levin, MR2, Starlet etc ... - to the larger 6 cylinder models which have not proven as popular as imports.
This is reflected in the numbers of Grande, Chaser etc... coming into the country.
So the chances of there being a genuine TOM'S built car here are slim.

Most TOM'S kitted AE111 & Altezza in Japan are retrofitted.

We still hold the only TOM'S agency in Australasia though and can, & do, still supply this brand.
Look for the new website coming soon.

cheers

Im pretty sure there's a 280T getting around Auckland/Howick with the plate 280T.

It was for sale 2-3 years ago as a fresh import.
