Tacho install on 4age

mmkai, i brought a big ass tacho and shift light for my ae111... mounted it, wired it to power/earth etc.. but cant for the life of me figure out where to wire the rpm sensor... instructions say the neg. side of the coil, but i couldnt make it work/figure it out.. thought i should ask here before i break something :D

you need to put i t in the bin and use the tach you already have,
4ages dont have provision for running monster tachs.

you can get the signal you need from the disgnostics connector.
without going outside and getting my feet wet, its the ig terminal (you will need to check this)
its bigger than most of the other terminals in the connector

on top of the coil you have a two wire plug, splice your tach signal wire to the black wire (negetive) (not the red/black wire) :D

pull out the dash and connected behind the factory tacho there will be a blue and silver wire (im not 100% sure if it dosnt work ill take mine out and double check)

thats all i did, saves running wires to the engine bay

stop wait just checked its accually a black wire with 2 silver dots, on the far left side of the plug with blue head

cant get any better than that now :)
