Manfeild Track Day Pics (56k hell no)

Postby Snoozin » Sun Aug 13, 2006 1:35 am

Rather than shove a bunch of pics in at the end of the other thread, I thought it might be a good idea to throw a new thread up so others can share their photo's as well.

I'll start with the Toyota's from the event:

Cool pix, interesting seeing where everyone positions their car on that corner.

That black fxgt went really well, its got some damn good straightline speed! Would be very impressive if it had some better suited suspension.

Lol, yay a photo of my car before it killed itself.

Hey Gav. Pay more attention to the background in the corner pix. The cars arent all the same distance around the corner. A good marker is that piece of new seal. I'm not taking the corner tighter. I'm just further around it.

Brad's KE70 wagon did a 1.43.85 iirc. That's the only time I'm aware of :)

not bad for my first time on the track and the first time driving the car

cut front springs
some random rear springs
200,000km old shocks
no wheel alignment
8O
(and me being n00b)
thats why it sucked!

nobody was constantly timing me
but i got a 1.33 on 1st run
1.30 on second (thanks to Leon for showing me some lines)
3rd run i got a 1.28

and nobody timed me for any of the other runs :(
some were fast, others, well i detoured thru cones or went offroading

Thats not half bad, what tyres are you running?

You'll have to some to a Manfeild Clubsport day for a bit of a race 8) . The last 2 of this season are the 24th of September and the 29th of October, both Sundays and both $50 (used to be $40).
