SR20de igniter has an earth wire. the toyota igniters use the case as an earth ( even though they never show that in a wiring diagram)

Do you have a remote or laptop connection for the link?
Are you getting an RPM reading on the display.

To test the wiring.

Unplug the ECU.

Turn on the ignition.
Use a test light with about a 12v 4watt bulb.
Clip the lead onto a 12V pos supply.
touch the probe of the test light onto the IGN1 wire in the ECU plug,
(the wire that goes to the igniter)
the coil should spark as you make and break the circuit with the testlight.
if it does it's most likely a problem in the way the dist is connected to the ECU, or in the settings in then ECU.
If not, then you have a wiring, coil, igniter problem.

just to make re enforce,
do this test with the ecu unplugged.
Do not probe power into the ECU. Probe it into the plug you have pulled out of the ECU.

ok so heres the latest:

LED on injectors and it flashes then blows (no resistor :()

LED on ignitor and 12v, blows straight away (no resistor :()

which leaves the coil. that should all mean the coil has facked itself and i need anoher right? is there a way to test the coil to make it spark?, did the thing u suggested matt ad nothing happend.
