Whats the Deal with Brake Lines

Postby GTSMR2TURBO » Tue Aug 15, 2006 9:13 pm

I just put some coilovers in my MR2 and now I have to get a cert... what is the rules in regards to the brake lines etc as the coilovers only came with a bracket for one brake line in the front yet there are two one on each side of the strut...

Say again??

Two brake lines going to one calipar?? I cant say ive ever seen that before....
I dont know much about mr2's but could the other be an ABS sensor wire?
If so just make sure theres enough length when the cars at full travel and full lock.
But two brake lines just dosnt make sence.

Edit: if im missing somthing do tell haha :)

Uhhh yea... Theres only one brake line.... Maybe this other one is your flux capacitor oil cooling lines? :)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Did you put the coilovers in or did you pay someone to do it?

If you did it, can you remember if that wire was secured to anything or not?
