The National Drifting Championship heads down to Fielding for Round 4 of the National Championship, Saturday August 26th. Come watch the best Drifters in the country battle it out on the demanding Manfeild track. The layout offers some of the best viewing all year as the grandstands look out over the entire judged section.
Drivers must impress the judges in qualifying to make the all important Top 16. They must show skill, speed and bravery to advance and only the best will make it. In the Top 16, not only will the drivers have to push themselves, they must push their tyres beyond adhesion and battle their competitors head to head to advance to the final and maximum Championship points.
Drift Corp Drivers “Fanga” Dan Woolhouse and Gaz Whiter have a commanding lead in the Championship but hot on their heels is 2005 runner up Sean “the coach” Falconer. Last year Falconer started a late run for the title at round 3 by winning 3 events straight and only just missing the 2005 Drift King title in the final battle of the Championship, could he do it all again this year and take the title?
Look out for the other big names to make an impression again this round, Steven Sole, Dayna “the fury” Jury, and 2005 Drift King Adam Richards.
The D1NZ team is as determined as the drivers to bring you an exhilarating event – so don’t miss out.
