REV limiter on a 3SGTE

is there any way to disable or raise the limter without a after market computer?

TD05-BIG16g,o2 housing wid external dump pipe, front mount intercooler, speed limiter removed, 1jz-gtte pistons, and lots of boost

You can disable it with a sledge hammer... what the other repercussions will be i dunno :lol:

You want to remove the rev limited on a 3S?
And that would be the one in your Caldina?

You are aware of what the consequences will be aren't you?

yes its on my caldina, i have removed the speed limiter and other mods have been done. want to raise it to 7500-8000.

It should handle 10,000+rpm no sweat. Toyota dont know shit.

Ok less sarcastic, dont. Thats not a mod. Well not one you want to do to a standard motor.

The 3S rod to stroke ratio isnt any good for more than 8000rpm, without longer rods. :cry:
