intercooler sprayers

Postby deaf_rattle » Fri Sep 01, 2006 10:39 pm

I am looking at making an intercooler sprayer set up for my supra.
What have people done? and is there a kit that is readily available?

I just want to be able to push a button at a "starting posistion" prefer nozzles that i can use at the strip, but not worried if i cant.

cheers

depends how you want it to work, do you just want a squirter button or do you want it done at set intervals after you push the button, OR taking into account load/how much ur fanging it + temp.

i think jaycar do a controller kit or something.

If you want a simple sprayer, find a window washer spray setup at a wreckers, you will prob need to find a different type of nossle to put on the end as you want a mist not a jet.
I had vtax :(

You are not allowed any sort of water sprayer for intercoolers at any drag strip as it leaves water on the track

mitsi evos and suby sti's have water sprayers on them or an irrigation shop will sell them and other fittings you need, you can also have the water sprayer inside the piping. You dont need to sprey as much water but still get good results if done correctly.
