Van with a rotary in.

Postby ollieboy » Sat Sep 02, 2006 2:16 am

I was talking to my friend tonight and he was in his van which he just dropped a rotor in, au! Its actually really cool though, 12A bridgeport.

Im wondering what people think of this though?

And if anyone knows of other cool engines in vans?

I didn't think it was that pointless. Its pretty cool putting engines in vans that you wouldn't expect. But have noted what you said and am thinking about why I suck at posting threads that are useful.

the whole Rota bongo thing is done many moons ago.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Its' because rotor conversions to vans are piss easy to do. Not too sure on the practicality though, a van isn't really a 1/4 mile weapon, nor a track machine.. mainly they're just built for skids, and hauling around skanks in.

Not my cup of tea, but hey. :)

same ole, each to their own theory applies. i personally have been in a few and helped build a few. good fun, do hell skids.

iv seen a bongo with a FEs 2L gold top telstar engine and a couple of turbos on the side.. that thing was very unique. u can buy a kit from aus to put a 350 in an l300

Yeah I live in Darfield but do ya have to rub it in?

The biggest news of the last three months here, as in the biggest headline on the local paper is that a Helicopter landed in a paddock because the pilot wanted a pie from our bakery. Admittedly they are bloody good pies, in all their msg laden glory. But I would say that, I work there.

theres like at least 50 rotor vans in nz on the road, a mate of a mate has a 260hp monster bridge van, but that doesnt even turn rotor heads on nowadays. its all bout the 20bpp negro.

Cool engines in vans include

clint the looser who cant do shit about being a looser's 1uz hiace
353 cleveland in a bedford (ynui of course)

and then theres the 4age in a liteace
