yeah i wondered if it was just n/a 4ages. i've found the list on club4ag but it doesn't have all the information im after.
* which of those gze's are bigports? i'm hoping to use my ae86 manifold, so will obviously need a bigport gze as opposed to a smallport.
* is there any difference in turboing a dizzy gze as opposed to CAS gze?
* is there a simple way to get around the power loss the map sensored gze's get at 5500rpm, without going with an aftermarket computer? will the one way valve the club4ag guys mentioned fix this?

crnkin wrote:1: Bigports are all the 8.0:1 blocks, mr2 and early ae92.
2: Nah not really
3: Who farken cares dont worry about it, youll be buying an afm anyways, and if you get map, theyre better anyway

ae92 gze are bigport, but have AFM too. if it has a dizzy then its a bigport obviously (unless its been converted from CAS) as it must be from the aw11.
i would prefer to go with the map sensor, but I need a bigport to make the conversion easier. I need to be able to swap as many parts as possible over off my current bluetop setup.
crankn said earlier not to worry about about the power loss map sensored gze's get at 5500rpm; why is this? is it hardly noticable or what?? would a link ecu fix this?

From what i have heard afm ones lean after about 10psi on a turbo. ih8tec blew his up, dont know how much boost he was running but he said it was lean and detonated to death.

Just listen to me, and what matt said, he just wrote mine with years. The others are not telling you correct info, and never do.
