I've got my AE92 FXGT turbo project on the way SLOWWWWLY......

Still need to suss out a few bits, but not too much now.

For the engine I've got a VF10 turbo, Legacy W/A intercooler, Vortec FMU, some random BOV, bluetop cams, etc, etc. Still need dump pipe, exhaust and manifold sorted.

Suspension stuff: strut brace, whiteline rear swaybar, Jamex springs, KYB shocks.

Just got some Advanti Racing CP035s with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.

Got most of my stuff from Toyspeeders and Trademe, including the car.

Hoping to get it all up and running soon, well once I get back from Malaysia. Good ol work has sent me here for all of september. Gotta love those paid working holidays hehehe 8)

i guess i qualify as a project now :D seeing as i seem to break bits fairly often.
replacing the turbo and intercooler as the old ones were toast

my latest haul of goodies

brand new IHI VF24 turbo and 470x250x70 intercooler

intercooler is already installed , all that remains is to weld the internal wastegate shut , remove the extra internal wastegate bits, and reinstall with the whole lot , this time with watercooling plumbed in

A lovely shade of light blue. Wish I never got rid of my one. Was a kinda cool car for $25  Should have got pics of it lowered and stuff, mudguards had to be cut off because they were dragging along on the road making lots of noise. Buggered off sideways on you in the wet when it changed to second :D

Just 3 projects going on in our workshop at the moment.

A 1969 KE11 2 door rally car undergoing a rebuild for a bit of classic rallying. Perhaps a 2 litre 3T repower.
Or maybe I'll just sell it as it is. This car was imported to rally in 1972
and has been a rally car ever since.

Notice how far back the engine is mounted.
The mechanicals out of the KE11 - very warm 1300 3K - will go into this KP61 Starlet circuit car
being prepped for TRD Boy to race

And my pet project, the Echo/Vitz being prepped for 3SGE insertion for FWD rally car.

[img][/img]

A 230hp 400Nm rollerskate for the K2 NZRC.
