I have a te72, 1980, T18 Liftback. (same shape as the te71 Liftback).
Imported into NZ, this model was never sold here. (I think).
i would like to know how many, if any are in New Zealand??
Does anyone know of any anywhere in NZ??
I would be interested to know.

There's an oldish lady driving a green one around Christchurch, absolutely mint, has "Toyota Corolla T-18" on the bootlid, and a large diff.. I know, cos I was driving behind it the other nite, drooling.. :wink:

they are pretty rare in NZ. Never heard or seen one in the country

If you were thinking of selling it, I believe $4000 is a good ballpark figure, for a damn rare car like that. Maybe more, but at the end of the day, its still just another old Corolla.

I have just bought the T-18 off harry and am wondering if there is still only 2 of these known in nz.. Cheers.

There was one on trademe not long ago.. think the seller was advertising 4 liftbacks (ke70, te71, and te72).

They are an australian market model with 3T-C engine and possibly T series diff with drums.
