Some advice.

Hiyas,

Few more questions about my new 4agze, there are a few bits that look missing/removed and im blowed if I can figure out what theyre for.

Next to firewall, left hand side when facing front of car. What is the red plug for, I assume the 2 cut wires went into it, and there is a vacum? tube missing.

Sorry about the image quality on this one, the white plug and red fuse holder? come out above the accelerator under the dash. Any idea what kinda fuse goes in the red thing? Or where the white plug goes, sorry probably a long shot with the crappy image but thats the best I could get after 20 or so tries.

Also the intake has been done a bit dodgey, they have just stuck a pod on the end of the old intake tube that went into the filter box and left the filter sitting ontop of other parts of the engine so the mesh on the pod has holes in it. Any advice on how to do this properly?

Thanks guys.

for the filter, assuming you dont build a cold air box, simplest thing would be to make a mounting bracket just above that side engine mount to hold the filter clear of everything. If its got holes in it already, best replace it too.

I had this problem, a cheap quick solution ( and by no means the best) cable ties, lol lots and lots of cable ties

Seriously your old car??

Ill leave the stuff in the top pic alone then as I have no idea what it is lol.

I had a chat with a mate at a dyno place and he said if not doing a cold air box Id be better to go back to the standard intake with a high flow filter so guess Ill probably do that.

Probably have to ask the auto sparky about the middle pic when I get my alarm installed.
