Q&A on importing

hey all,

dad really wants an Altezza RS200 with low km's and in blue. His budget is around 15k and would rather buy an import or from a dealer rather than a doge off trademe.

So, whats the deal with importing grom Japan, wheres the best place to look, and any advice from previous experience?

nothing wrong with trademe, get it checked like any car you want to buy....

well the biggest things wrong we've found with tm is high kms, and current condition.

Now, although popularly believed, I am no slug and I know a deal when I see one and I know when things are too good to be true. I also know that Japan is not the only answer, just that people have found low km cars in good condition for a real good deal.

just curious if I can get a better deal or better condition. If not then ill keep looking on trademe or around local dealers

by dodge i ment that alot of people try sell extremely thrashed cars for unrealistic prices, thats all

yea i kno, found one on trademe, had like 89k kms (getting high), silver and it ended at 11990 i think, so they exist
