Horrible Scrapeing Noise (AE111)

Hello,

I got a AE111 BZV Superstrut. However lately if I go on the motorway about 100km onwards it has been making a horrible metal like scraping noise. Have checked both brakes and suspension but all is ok. Only thing is tyres are getting low (i.e. 1.3-1.4mm). Dont think its this though. Other thing is that I have just put a new front bumper on and due to this my front mud guard is slightly loose. Although there is no signs off rubbing on anywhere I think it could possible be this.

Is there anything else I haven't listed that it could be?

The Shock Shop check my wheel barings today (I had to drive 160kmph on a hoist ) and they checked out ok too.

I been to 7-8 workshops now and no one has had an answer.

It only happens about 100km onwards.

Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like metal on metal then, not metal on plastic. Will tighten it after work then go for a run on the motorway.

Problem solved. Was my wheel guards scrapeing believe it or not. Was loose at front and touching the ground. This is due to new front bumper etc. Ah well all fixed. Thanks for your help sergei
