civic radiators on 4age's

Postby Pies » Tue Sep 26, 2006 10:15 pm

so whats the verdict?

those of you running the small Civic radiators on your 4age. have you had any problems with overheating? or is it just as eficient as the standard radiator?
do you need to run a fan constantly? how is it set up etc...

cheers for the info

get an ek civic radiator, they are twin core, and from memory the auto ones are even bigger.

the common eg radiator is only single core unless it was from a eg9,

ek civic radiator works out to be the same size as a gtz one, half the width but twice as thick due to being twin core.

i personally have run them on a few turbo cars and never had an issue.

\currently got one in a turbo 4agze in a ke30 running 171kw atw and never had an issue,
run them with other 4agze turbos and vtec turbos in the past with out any issues

i got a auto single core aluminium civic radiator, i'd suggest wisely at running the fan constantly, as i had an overheating issue once i stopped driving. fixed that, and different slimmer fan and no problems yet.
