What should I waste my money on???

Postby ae85 wgtn » Tue Aug 13, 2002 12:31 pm

Hi guys I have around $2000 to spend on my trueno, and I want your ideas on what the money should be spent on.

I only have two ideas at the moment-

1. Spend money on paint job, gun metal grey keeping the original black bumpers. Unfortunately then I am left with a stylish hole cut in the bonnet to accomodate the inlet plenum which is too damn tall.

2. Get an aftermarket ecu, which allows me to run open throttles hence solving my plenum/hole in bonnet issue. But then I'm left with rangi paint :(

See my dilemma?

yeah I'm all for go b4 show, but I'll be getting it painted sooner or later and was just weighing up whether it was worth getting an ecu to save my bonnet from a big hole or not.

but yeah I decided to get the computer... anyone got a hook-up on links or similar? :D

I say if its a simple road car, go for the show.
Or (as im guessing) if you drive it hard go the ECU.
