Hi there,
Ive got a question about altezzas, Im thinking of buying one, whats the fastest manual model you can get? Sorry im clueless when it comes to this kinda of thing... Also if anyone knows anyone with one for sale, please let me know !!

RS2000, six speed with dual VVTI 2 litre beams 3SGE engine.

Avoid the 2l 6 cylinder like aids.

The 2JZGE is a better engine for the altezza IMO, but only came in auto.

Hey, why avoid the 2l 6 cylinder? But cheers for that, ill be keeping my eye out for a RS200 ! :)

The 2 litre 6 cylinder is more designed for smooth low/mid RPM power, whereas the 4 cyl version is made for mid/high rpm power. :)

Which is why the lexus came with the 6 cyl, as they're aimed more at people wanting smooth driving etc rather than a quickish sort of car.

I think the version you want is RS200 Z's? they're the ones with the LSD and all that shizzle.
