apexi rsm wiring

OK, looking at wiring in the RSM
just curious as to what the grey wire is for?
i have found out that white is for the rpm output/switch.

any help would be great

What revision is it? the new one or old one? I currently have a new one installed, theres manuals. I dont seem to remember a grey wire on my install but it has been a while

Just realised that there's white wires on the g sensor I remember? If you can read japanese this may be useful:


Other than that, I just left them as they were, and as far as I can tell it's all working properly

yeah its the same model as that.
the white wire from the rsm is the tacho output(maybe switchable with speed output?)
the other 2 wires are for different ecus for the speed cut.

ill just leave the grey wire alone i think haha.

need to find a g sensor for it now.

Yea, the outputs could be quite useful if setup properly, you could setup a shift light/speed "ding ding" quite easily. Theres a write up about setting it up on some website that I would swear used to be in my bookmarks, but cant seem to find it anymore. I think they reccomended you run the output to a relay, that then activated the circuit for whatever you had linked up.
