Similar for me thou with NZI along with house and contents etc. I'm semi old at 27. I pay $512 for mine, full cover, $200 excess. When I get the approved alarm it will drop another $60 or so apparently.

I do love being 25 sometimes....

My RX7 is insured for 20k, has all mods listed(single turbo, computer, porting etc) and i pay 600 a year, with a 500 excess if crashed, 1000 is stolen.

And I'm with state

im 24, my supra's costing me $770 p/yr, $1500 excess, includes windscreen cover, but not roadside rescue (toyotas dont break down 8)) - with state. Pretty good deal i reckon - they know i've lost my licence twice, but never made a claim.

I was kinda interested to find that once the car is deemed "performance" with most companies is when you get the rates hike, it was going to be the same to insure my uber 20v powa as a gts-t skyline, sure you can kill yourself and others in both, but I would have thought gts-t would have costed more to insure.

3sge curren - 680 a year (800 excess when im driving)
3sge celica - 950 a year (1500 a year if i was to drive one)

Thats why i picked a curren over a celica.

That was with the AA

You sure your value of your car doesnt drop every so often? Cos generally thats what will happen. My curren is insured for a fair amount and its slowly getting down there. Although i was lucky that they insured my sounds and the only listed modifaction other than that is a bodykit. The AA told me i need to tell them about all modifications but if its more than a 5% power gain they may not be covered.

Hey,

Im 23 with a GTT. Mine costs about 530 a year full cover, insured for 13k I think. Excess for theft is just under 1000 I think off hand. Cant remember exactly. I think if I crash it its about 500 excess. I think. Thats through State.

I work for the company that insures me - unless you are a health professional / student planning on being one / vet / vet student they wont insure you :\

I got my turbo ae101 tureno insuranced for 9k, all mods covered, for around a $1000 a years, and im 18 8)

With NAC.

Managed to get 60% no claims bonus somehow...I should be on a 40% at most at my age with my insurance history. But between changing around between companies someone stuffed up, and got a 60%, and once you have a 60%, every other company will give it to you as long as you can prove it (old policy or something). unless you lose it for claiming of course..

And just got a quote yesterday for a 1997 wrx sti, full cover for 14K, going to cost $1050

:P , and im still 18 8)
