Congrats to Ford, bout time they had a win & i think it's only fitting for Lowndes as a former team-mate & best friend of Brocky to have the win.Was a pretty boring race though, but lets all hope both Radisich & Mark Porter especially make a speedy recovery.

wat are u on about all through the top of the track lowndes was way to quik and kelly only closed in throught the chase because he dove in late on the breaks as a last effort to get passed.

I enjoyed it. A fair bit of action and a nail biter at the end. Shame about Skaife though. Don't get me wrong I'm Ford all the way but it would've been good for Lowndes to beat Skaife as well.

Couldn't believe that they sent that other Toll Commonwhore out again! After a loss of steering at almost 300km they just send him out to crash halfway round the track again!

I sincerely hope Porter, Radisich and the other dude all recover from their crashes.

But by god did Lowndes deserve this win or what, the battle between him and Kelly was so intense that i nearly changed channels so that i'd start breathing again. :lol:

Did anyone else notice how much air he got over the track at the end of Conrod? Cleared the track completely and was at least a full car length on the other side before he touched the ground.

Well deserved win though. Anyone know what was wrong with Murphy in the end? Saw it going to the pits but the crash didn't look that serious that they couldn't go back out

Murph's team mate was driving and had a massive collision. Took the rear drivers side door off as well. Pretty much the whole drivers side of the car was mashed and he was unable to continue.

the undercar and wheel arch cameras were oh so cool!

seeing the tire flex under those loads and seeing it enlarge at 300kmh was interesting. and due to the lack of actual racing they managed to show alot of it.

alot of cars got very very mashed and will take very much $$ to get them straight before the gold coast meet

i would of thought it would be easier to just start on a new car, are they only alowed 1 car per season or something?
