tarmac rallying dangerous?

Drving on everyday roads is alot more dangerous then on closed off roads while using in most cases strengthened cars IMO :roll:

I think tarmac rally is more dangerous than other forms of motorsport... if your tyres let go, or if there is wet patch in the middle of a fast sweeper, you will fly into the scenery very quickly, and the scenery is not regulated like at a race track. Having said that, most forms of motorsport have death or dis-memberment as a possible outcome of bad or committed driving...
