Because when you buy a motor for a project you dont always get ECU, loom, all manifolds, injectors, fuel rail etc etc

Get the one with sidedrafts :)

Concur.

And no matter what anyone says, there is no noise quite like a set of carbs slurping back copious amounts of air (and fuel to match :lol: )

If the engine has carbs already, sweet. But I wouldn't go to the trouble of converting if you already had an efi setup.
