i just searched thru the for sale section and found info in there,

change in flywheels was in 1990. ae92 afm and ae92map/ae101 clutches are not interchangable.

can anyone tell me wether i can run a ae92 afm starter motor on a late model flywheel, or post a pic up of a ae101 gtz starter

thanks

All a series ring gears are the same size and tooth. And i have a sneaky suspision all toyota ones are the same size, though i may be wrong, someone once told me that anyways.

So yes, you will be fine. 4age, 2e, 1g, 4agze, smallport, bigport, will all do the trick. (1g needs the flange ground a tad, but mega high torque start y0)

to sum this up for the next person:

gtzs flywheels changed when the ae92 facelift was released.

the two eras clutches are not interchangable.
