Don't think I will have my Carina fixed by then (got all the bits I need.. just need to put them on! slacker!)... BUT
I have asked for that day off work so I will come along and do a bit of driver coaching and maybe the emergency braking thing again.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

The very latest end of October please. That way I can get the track hire and safety stuff paid for in plenty of time.
That's plenty cool. Thanks.

You're on 'the list' I'm sure there will be a few who pull out as there always is. If this thing gets any bigger I won't have time to do any playing myself so numbers a cut off for now.

Hi
Trackday Wednesday 22 November...

I need some helpers for the day. If you're coming up with a couple of extra bod's who would be happy to lend a hand with flag duties in the pits and around the track let me know as I need to get my wonderful helpers sorted now so I can get the safety gear for them.

Thanks a bunch chickens
Chelles :D

Event information

Postby rallyrulz » Sat Oct 14, 2006 12:59 pm

Hi Chelles, as the day comes closer can I get some final information.

1. Do we get a schedule for this event closer to the day? Time to arrive, what time does it finish etc.

2. For us Aucklanders that take everything but the kitchen sink to the event, there is somewhere to store it all safely at the track?

3. For booking accommodation down there, where exactly is this Taupo track?
I found it: http://www.tauporacetrack.co.nz/finding_us.cfm

Hi
You certainly do get a schedule closer to the time. I email those out to the email address' provided in your registration.

There isn't any storage at the track however as far as I am aware there has never been a problem with stuff being taken on the day. But in saying that always keep your goodies covered or piled up so it is obvious that they belong you to.

The Taupo track is on the corner of Centennial Drive and Broadlands Road. From the main roud-about at the North west end of town, you head up Spa Road, onto Centennial Drive and keep going until you see the sign. It's very easy to find.

Hello all :)

It's only a month to go now...
Those of you who have entered but not paid your fee I need to get these in now please. The last day for payment will be 31st October. If you need an extension you will need to PM me or email to grovel your heart out. I have to pay the track and safety equipment hire so I need fees paid up.

Thanks for your time.
