Well fair enough, I wont judge you on making a personal lifestyle choice. More power to you.

PS I love that you feel the need to spew your CV and 177.5WHP car stats every 5th post.

Flexable maturity. Unfortunately all I see is consistancy. A consistant 12 year old mentality.
In regards to your continuing qualifications, to be honest I find it pathetic. Its a sign of someone who has no goal in life, no ambition, no direction.

If you wonder where I stand in education. I'm the one behind the desk at the front.

A tuner that gets big power?
A tuner that does a tune giving you car slightly less power but very reliable?

A tuner thats tuned lots of big HP cars that belong to rich people?
A tuner that has done lots of cars like ours?

A tuner that everyone else says is good, so he must be?
A tuner that noone says anything bad about?

What makes you people pick one tune shop over another? Everyone seems to take sides when it cones to recommending someone, why?

What makes you believe that optimal power isn't reliable? What makes you believe the "rich" people dont choose the same tuner as those who dont have the same financial resourses?
Why do we base selection on personal references?

Shlt sorry for posting. I didn't post to start an arguement, I was just interested WHY your average Joe Bloggs would recommend their prefered tuner. Im getting my car tuned next week and wanted to know not only WHO to go to, but WHY.

My car is an '81 Corolla DX with a Link LEMV5 with a Z18et using a T3/T4 and all the supporting mods. With all your experience and knowledge of everything, who would you recommend i get to tune it?

My apologies for repsponding to juvinile statements with similar rebuttal in your thread.

My original post stands. The three I listed would be the three I have previously worked with and got good results with in CHCH. Much like curcitLevin I have had issues with a map from PAD, however my car had no issues being placed on their dyno. I suspect this was in the early years of Gary' tuning and I have heard that he is considerably better now.

WAR motorsport, now part of Possum Bourne Motorsport have also produced a very good map for one of my cars and would be on my list for tuning given a north island jaunt.

You wrote most of it

Instead of arguing for the sake of it, have a good read of what redmist was trying to say before you started nit picking.

This thread is done.
