all i can say is that is one hella friendly bank to give you that kinda loan at 20yrs old, i can roughly add up how much it would cost and then add more for the amount i miss.

i'm not doubting the car, it's immacculate and i dont care if it's a honda, the workmanship is incredible.

I don't care if it is honda (after working a few years at car yard they seem all the same), I don't doubt the workmanship. I just don't like the way it looks, I don't like the fact you can't take it on the road and enjoy it. From my point of view the show cars are more statues - than cars. They are built for show not for to drive them, when cars are not driven they are no different than the expensive painting on the wall. (One of the reason I quit art school that the painting was not enough rewardings)...
That car costed probably as much as my bosses GroupB RS200 (on the pic I posted earlier), which would you choose, huh?

that would again depend on if you're into doing up a car to show standard.... or actually focusing on racing etc... 8) because you think ones a 'better' use of $$$ doesnt make it law

edit: dont take this outside the forum and smack me one

Tell your boss to get the RS200, the T16 and the 6R4 out on the gravel  (assuming they're all still around)

T16 and 6R4 are both sold, I doubt he will take RS200 on the gravel.

Okay, so how does that make it any different to that Civic? At least the Civic is doing what it was built for
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

RS200 is built for tarmac rallies.
To take it on the gravel many things would need to be changed.
RS200 is going to be used for purpose it was built.
RS200 is road legal car and can and is driven on normal road.
As I said I highly dislike the show cars for various reasons.
Very similar reasons I dislike Fast and the Furious movies.
I actually started to dislike the show cars because of that movie in first place.

That RS200 was built specifically for tarmac.

F&F is just the movie, as in hollywood movies, physics is non exsistant -> hence they were drivable :) Frazes like "danger to manifold" or "double clutch" (used in wrong sub text) etc. are innacurate.
What are you seriosly considering F&F movies any good?
They are the worst movies ever (I would rather watch Titanic). Plot does not make sense, play is second grade, cars are crap, street racing is stupid.

Don't poke dry shit.

no what im getting at is that you said that you "started to dislike shows cars even more after f & F movies" but in f & F movies the cars go on the road..............................most show cars dont!! so how the hell are they the same thing?? are you trying to say that you "started to dislike street racing after the f & F movies??" cause thats what they were about!!

or did you not watch them and just decide to start disliking show cars??!!!

sorry for confusion -> but for me F&F cars look like show cars -> as in fancy paint jobs, chrome, spoilers etc. low. + after that movie every muppet wanted to do burnouts on streets and do races, also that movie set trend for shiny bits and fancy paint jobs.
I understand that "fancy" paint jobs were popular before that movie, but in more genuine car enthusiasts (hot rodders, classic cars, occasional jap. imports). Now every muppet wants chrome wheels, paint job and 3" fart cannon.

how about you guys get over yourselves, some peple like show, some people like to race. Its up to the owner of he car for what he wants to do to it, its his choice so why bag him? Some guys like girls, others like guys. Its their own choice to what they want so let them do what they want. Just show some maturity and get over it
