Yes, a savage who drives like he hates the car behind the wheel :P

I'd like to run a 12 with my RWD Skyline this season - and its a little frustrating hearing about MR2s doing it that easy ahah. However, I think I will be a lot more "within the limits" doing it than a GenI SW20 with a CT20B running crazy boost. I sometimes think one would be fun, you get the best of both worlds - RWD *AND* traction.... though I'd never replace the Skyline with one, there is a certain top end rush the 3SGTE just doesn't comprehend haha.

they actaully do have mean top end thats where i pulled on the k20a an yea Al from mr2 forum was trapping over 175km/h in his mildly modded mr2 gen 1..... may mate is running a k20a computer as well with intake, header, exhust but i was also running untuned at 14.5psi, was running very rich

Impressive results from yours - what turbo are you running? K20As with boltons and a tuned K-Pro will usually turn out over 160kw @ wheels.

Yeah Al's was impressive, 176kph was his highest trap speed wasn't it?
Thats hardly normal for what I've seen from MR2s - but you're not likely to see a Type-R doing that kind of trap speed. However you probably won't see a Celica doing that either!

I was trapping pretty close to Al with only cat back exhaust system and stock boost (around 8psi) in the Skyline so I guess its all relative. I kindof expect to somewhat exceed 175kph next time hahaha.

Several 177km/h traps (110mph) 8) Headlights up, 17" wheels on at night drags. Sean's (MR2SIK) does the same.

thats one hot dc2 8O

still thiking between ITR and a GT4? well personally an ITR is a better track car, but unless you would want a potential hp build in the future, then a GT4.

maybe this may convince you:

That looks just like my grannie's car...

The styling is just a bit bland. Compare it to the scupted ST205 bonnet with the projector headlights and some interesting curves on the body.

I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!! Haha. Its been ages since I've chatted with you, and for some reason 109mph stuck out in my memory. Either way, its a very impressive trap speed for mild mods - there are very few Jap cars that will do that with very basic bolt ons.

Avinesh - R33 GTS25t, my highest trap was 106mph if I remember rightly... though it wasn't the cleanest run :(

LOL Ouch

Also it requires the driver to make a quick track time. I bet you Al could run a 12sec in his car and i jump in it and run a 13/14 just because im not that experienced etc

Btw Richard that gt4 looks so sick we have a gt4 down here Prymal... Its been worked hard core, ask slighty_looney i believe he is good mates with him
