Bluetop, Bigport... turbo or not?

wot do you guys reckon?? turbo or n/a on my bluetop bigport??
i wanna turbo it but at the same time i wouldnt mind a set of quad throttle bods aswell

its goin into a starlet so either way its gunna be more power.
if i do go turbo i would have to get ze pistons wouldnt i?

Nope. Only need them if you want to run a decent amount of boost, even then if you are using an aftermarket ecu (which you would with quad throttles) you'd be able to make really good power on std pistons.

Bluetops are a dime a dozen anyway :lol:

Oh and by starlet I assume you mean a kp?

Its been done so many times its not funny, just do some research.

Don't want to burst your bubble but if it is infact a kp starlet then you're going to need at least a T50, and a T series rear end, then a brake upgrade.

If its just a standard bluetop then the K50 will be fine and the standard wee' diff will be fine too.

But once again, its been done many many times so do a search.

yep i have a 22 spline t50, all i need is a 4age bell housing as the t50 has a S series b/h then i just gota rebuild the 4age and sort the rear
