4age bluetop mounts compatible with 4agze?

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Mon Nov 06, 2006 1:37 pm

ive got a KE35 setup with a 4age bluetop bolted in.

will I be able to swap the engine and alternator mounts and rwd waterpump/lines etc straight over to an aw11 distributor type 4AGZE so that it will bolt directly in on the existing crossmember?

i heard a rumour that the alternator mounts are different or something like that so hoping that either its false, or i can remove these mounts and use my current RWD mounts.

cheers
-matt

oh and do the aw11 4agze's have TVIS?

im jus putin a ze in my car and the mounts i was given are for a 4age and the supercharger bracket uses a bolt hole that the engine mounts also use so the bracket and mounts have to be machined so they can be sandwiched in together the same as on the other side with the alternator bracket, ther is also a lug on the supercharger side where u will have to drill a hold in the engine mount to slide on to

is that when using the supercharger too?
I forgot to say, there will be no supercharger or anything, basically a RWD ae86 bluetop except running a gze block and maybe gze head. it will eventually be turboed but that ofcourse won't effect anything on the inlet side.

so aslong as the engine and alternator mount studs and bolt holes etc are the exact same pattern between a bluetop block and aw11 4agze block i'll be fine...

can anyone confirm this?
