does any one know if or what the differences between a manual or auto ecu?

i am using an auto one on my manual blacktop without a problem. apparently there may be a power loss but i have never had anyone confirm that

so they plug in to the loom and run ok?

yeah. i was told by someone that something had to be shorted on the plug which goes to the auto gearbox, but I never did that and it ran fine

The auto ECU will not plug in into manual loom and vice versa.

Yea one of the plugs is different. The other 2 are the same.

20v ecu differences??????????
