Anybody give hand installing microtech ecu or know somebody?

Hey im just wondeirng if anybody would like to give me a hand installing a microtech ECU in a nissan sentra, which i have an e15et turbo engine in.

I dont know what to do, so would really like if somebody would like a bit of work or give me a hand..

im located in tauranga if you know of anybody who i can try or whatever please let me know

What model microtech??? There is a difference in the wiring of them over the various models. Also is the ecu configured to suit your application???If not chances are you'll need to send it back to be reconfigured. Have you got the manual with all the wiring diagrams in it?? If you haven't chances are if you either email Tim/John at microtech or check out there website forum at http://www.microtechefi.com you may be able to get a copy of the wiring at least. Basically rpovided it's configured right & you follow the book with regards to the wiring it should start pretty much first time. They are a pretty easy ecu to install & get running compared to most of the newer generation haltechs,links,motecs etc.

The only people I could possibly recommend in Tauranga are Green Brothers, they mainly do rotary work but do a bit of microtech stuff. Else give HiTech Motorsport in Pukekohe,Auckland a call on (09)238-8754 being an authorised microtech dealer they should either be able to put you on to someone in your area that can help or offer advise.

I could help further but I'm in Auckland, & don't have much time available at the mo, with work, tech, exams etc.

i have a wiring loom etc, but the guy said it would be easier to adjust for my loom already in my car

the ecu is tuned for the engine im about to put in my car, except that he was running a T3 turbo instead of a t25g i have..

so yeah i guess would need to be tuned a little bit different...

Its old skool ECu, but ive been told it does the same without the visual displays etc...

i will see if my mechanic mate can help me out with this otherwise i will get some help from those ppl cheers![/img]

your putting alot of faith into that, i hope this engine and car isnt worth alot to you as i know id be dubious to use such a unit..
