Raceseats, where to get?

Postby diss7 » Thu Nov 09, 2006 2:25 pm

Where in Christchurch can you go to look at race seats. I'm after a proper one FIA approved etc; also going to get a harness.
I've been suggested to get a momo, but will look at others. Ideally I want to have a sit in them and see how it feels.
I've had a look at palmside. Anywhere else?

Actually I need a new helmet too.

I was looking at sydenham park chev spares, they got the blue FIA approved Sparco ones for something like $400 odd dollars

Yea I just got back from there. They're Sparco sprints, and they're actually nice fitting. $489.

I was ignored for 10 mins so I just left :?

mate get a racetech out of welly, its the only way to go if you like to your back!!!
the best and easyest people to deal with. its only a phone call and e-mail for any probs.
thats if you dont like to be ignored and made like they care about what you are doing and not trying to rip you off
have a look at the website

I like my racetech, its all suede and holds me in real well and I can sit in it for hours without getting a sore back. :)

I got my racetech 4000 off someone i knew, never used and it's comfy as anything. even though it's a race seat you'd assosciate them to be uncomfy but not these models.

dch motorsport had them last time i was in there - along with all the other things you may need. i.e. race suits, helmets, seats, harnesses, etc, etc.
