Girl hit by a car...

Postby misha » Sat Nov 11, 2006 2:19 am

...On Andy Bay @ around 12:10am. Anyone else seen this? It was the blue "HOTBOX" Levin, that I've never seen before tonight. I was there and saw the whole thing happen.

This definitely puts things in perspective.. A split-second time difference and a poor alcohol-aided decision to cross the road at the wrong time sees 2 peoples' lives completely change.

Does anyone know anyone involved? AFAIK, the girl was breathing and had a broken leg. That's all i know, as i was pretty quick to get out of there. I'm definitely going to slow right the $&#$% down from now on.

I don't know, i quite liked the car. Honestly thought it was the best Levin i saw to date (apart from the skewed plate on the back).

From what i hear, she's OK. No news on the dude, though.

He was just pulling out of shell, right next to me. So yeah, i was right there. I had to drive off because i was afraid they'd set up a checkpoint and i have no WOF.

I got pulled over later in the night anyway, nice as cop. Let me off with murder, so to speak. Stared right at my WOF and didn't even mention it, just said my front has to be on. I'm going to put it on tomorrow and take it off for paint (for a day, this time) once i have the cash.

There were hundreds of people there, and at least 20 around the girl. I'm sure i could get away with trying to save my ass, while the 3 cop cars and an ambulance took care of the rest. My mate whipped out 111 literally a second after it happened.

What do you think? It was pretty much exactly at midnight, just when the drag train starts. It took me a good 5 minutes sitting in a traffic jam just to get out of there (since one of the lanes was closed for obvious reasons). Not like i was there alone..
