Postby Wolf_Tm250 » Mon Nov 13, 2006 2:56 am

Hello,

I'm looking for a Power FC for a friend's ST202...

but I'm not able to find it for this car....

Would it be possible to fit the Altezza 3SGE one ?

Thank you.

Assuming it's a gen 3 3SGE.... Then it's easy as to fit pretty much any ECU.

If it's a gen 4 'redtop' 3SGE, then your selections are a lot more limited. :?

There's a japanese company called 'brashboy' that modifies Altezza ECUs for use with the ST202.

Also C-one does the same thing, google either of them and you'll find the ECU you're looking for, which will be plug and play. 8)

The fact is that on Ebay you can find Altezza's PFC at a VERY low price... lower than ANY ecu...

ST202, so I think it's a 3rd gen.... "silvertop" ??

I know them.... but they are really expensive... more than a reprogrammable ecu...

Thank you.

I only wanted to know if the "normal" 3SGE 175 hp is called "silvertop", has it has a silver valve cover.

Nope its not called that its just a gen 3 3s-ge. Get one and 2 3s-ge's also have "silver tops". Only engine by toyota referred to as a silver top is a 20V 4a-ge.
