c series gearbox fun!

Now, my camera just shit itself after taking pics...


But, you guys are wrong

You can take the bellhousing off without going from the back, cheers acesniper.

There is _just_ enough room to do it.


Now, my question..

Can someone tell me or show me the picture of the bearing that wears leading to the 5th gear pop out? (i was going to post some pictures but my camera died..)

And, how important is the preload setting on the diff...and what does it do?

look up bearing preload on google something should pop up.
as for 5th gear I dono what wears havent seen it in a c series

alot of the c50s in aw11 do it.

early c52 gear box's only had the one starter hump on the bell housing like in k my ae82

gear selectors come out of the other side of the box on aw11 when compearing them to fwd set ups

....
