Postby SkunkWeRX » Wed Nov 15, 2006 9:57 am

hey guys just thought id keep you posted as its been a while finding a good drivers side guard to continue my trueno front conversion
if some one can tell me how to put some pics up that would be good.:)
just finished off painting the modified guards and reprayed the front bumper,so its assembly time . all the wiring is done apart fomr the pop up lite motors being hooked up.just need to purchase a switch unless someone can explain a way to run it off the head lite switch or changing it over to the trueno switch cluster...

hey thanks guys, yeah deffinatley needs a paint on the rest of the car now,
it started life as a $400 hack i puchased ,didnt intentd to do anything to it:)
since that shot its got the tints al done now ,
im thinking of filling in rear door handles when i paint it and removing all the mouldings just to make it look tidy.
the guards and stuff where painted using cans :)
gloss white then clear coat etc, came out alot better that i hoped for, unless you look real hard at it you would never know it:)

Its got potential... If I was going to nitpick.... The facelift ae92 trueno's look 10x better imo not having such "buglike" parklights etc... You could always convert the lights?

FYI: Its actually the face lift ones that have the bigger park lights.

Mine is an 87 and has the nicer looking thin lights. 8)

Weird, really don;t think mine was converted. I've seen 1990 models with the big lights.

Lol suppose it not really a huge issue is it
