yeah you're right, ive already looked at upgrading the ram, but to get any decent amount i would need to upgrade other stuff too - not sure how reliable that knowledge is now though

the computer I do work on at the moment has windows 2k, with 512mb/ram [not totally sure on rest of the specs] and its not particularly fast, i can run indesign and photoshop on it without too much trouble but illustrator is waaay too much.

If i wanted to put more ram into my PC. Id need to change my motherboard, which would require me to change my cpu, and video card.

Oh wait... ill just get a new PC
